Karen Mok adalah aktris dan penulis lagu dari Hong Kong. Ia lahir pada 2 Juni 1970. Ia dua kali memenangkan Golden Melody Award. Nama aslinya adalah Karen Joy Morris.

Mok belajar di Diocesan Girls’s School Hong Kong mulai tingkat dasar sampai tingkat dua. I apernha mendapatkan Hong Kong Outstanding Students Awards. Kemudian pada tahun 1987 ia meninggalkan Hong Kong untuk melanjutkan belajarnya di luar negeri. Ia menempuh pendidikan di United World College of the Adriatic dekat kota Triesti, Italia. Ia di sana dari tahun 1987 sampai tahun 1989. Kemudian ia melanjutkan pendidikannya di Universitas London jurusan sastra Italia.

Mok adalah saudara perempuan dari penulis dan produser Trevor Morris, dan ia adalah keturunan dari Alfred Morris, kepala sekolah pertama di King’s College, Hong Kong. Ia dapat berbicara dengan berbagai macam bahasa yaitu bahsa Inggris, Kanton, Mandarin, Italia, dan Perancis.

Mok dikenal dengan nama Karen Mok di film-film Cina dan Karen Joy Morris (nama aslinya) di film-film Hollywood. Pada tahun 2001 ia pernah menjadi pengisi suara pada film Dysney berbahasa Kanton yang berjudul ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE. Saat itu ia mengisi suara Puteri Kida.

Pada tahun 2005 dan 2006 ia tampil pada acara musikal Broadway RENT yang merupakan tour internasional. Di tahun 2007, ia terlibat dengan MTV EXIT, sebuah kampanye anti perdagangan manusia di Asia. Ia mempersembahkan TRAFFIC: AN MTV EXIT SPECIAL, sebuah dokumentasi tentang perdagangan manusia. Pada Oktober 2008, Karen Mok meluncurkan merk parfumnya sendiri di Hong Kong.
