Bahkan BAFTA disebut sebagai ajang penghargaan film paling prestigius di luar Amerika. Nominasi The 68th British Academy Film Awards pun sudah diumumkan pada hari Jumat (8/1) di London waktu setempat.

Dari daftar yang telah dirilis, CAROL dan BRIDGE OF SPIES memperoleh nominasi terbanyak, termasuk kategori Film Terbaik. Sementara untuk kategori Aktor dan Aktris Terbaik, sampai sekarang masih belum ada kejutan berarti.
