5. It has the shortest Middle-Earth runtime
Instead of its running time, which is 2 hours and 24 minutes long, the running time of this movie is actually the shortest among two HOBBIT movieas and three LORD OF THE RINGS movies.
Still, Peter Jackson has promised additional 30 minutes footage in the Blu-Ray version. That is a relief right? So just watch the movie and wait for the extended cut.
4. Prepare for the super epic battle 
The highlight of the movie, obviously, is the extensive and massive battle of the five armies. The title has shown that. Believe it or not, the duration of this battle is almost on third of the movie. This is because Peter Jackson was meticulous about small details in the war. He made sure that there was a key character involved in scenes at least every other shot.
In the original novel, this battle actually written on a single chapter. This forced Jackson to expand details and had a lot more intimate moments between characters and the violence.
3. It has its own Football Jerseys
As the product of popular culture, people want to celebrate the release of the film. One of the example is the New Zealand football club, the Wellington Phoenix. They make and wear special Hobbit-designed jerseys for a game on December 13th. The jerseys will only be worn once. Yet, it is a sign for a market specialists to produce the mass version of it only for the fans. There is currently no image of the jersey, but they will be available to see online shortly after the game.
2. Record for the actors 
Out of all six Middle Earth films, there were only two actors to appear in every single one. The first is Sir Ian McKellen who play Gandalf. If you are aware, he makes an appearance in each of the movies.
The second is Cate Blanchett. She appears in every movie as Galadriel. For the Hobbit films, she filmed all of her scenes at one time so she was rarely needed on set.

Most of movie props usually put in eBay after the movie shoot done. But not for this movie. Many of the actors kept props and weapons that they used in the film. This includes a variety of swords, sheilds, and a few of the outfits. Even if the original weapons are gone.
This is because the actors want it as memorabilia. Yet, here are many dedicated websites that sell replicas of the weapons and outfits used for The Hobbit trilogy. Prepare your money everyone.
